Rhonald with BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia)

Rhonald suffered from BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia), also known “enlarged prostates”.

“I’m really glad I found Dr. Prithipal Sethi, because this has just changed my life. I can’t state anything less than that, there is no understating it, it just changed my life.”

Watch his heartfelt testimonial on this minimally invasive treatment and  hear the story in his own words…

INTERVIEWER: How long have you been dealing with your BPH?
RHONALD: Roughly since I was in my late 30s I started having problems with it.

INTERVIEWER: Were you taking any medications prior to this procedure?
RHONALD: Yes. I tried several medications and then none of them worked. None of them alleviated my symptoms, they just didn’t work.

INTERVIEWER: Did you ever require any catheters for your symptoms?
RHONALD: Yes I had the use of catheters couple of times.

“That’s not fun when you get stuck out somewhere in a strange place and you have to consult the catheter when you have a urethra problem anyway with it.”

INTERVIEWER: Talk to me about some of your symptoms of BPH?
RHONALD: Frequent urination, incomplete urination, waking up 5 – 6 times a night. It might sound silly but I was actually measuring it and it got to where it was the same amount every single time and nothing more. So, my bladder could only squeak out so much and that was it, and I was left with what was in there.

INTERVIEWER: How did you find Dr. Sethi?
RHONALD: Well, maybe not fortunately, but my last urologist retired, so I had to find another urologist.

INTERVIEWER: How did you decide on UROLIFT?
RHONALD: It was no brainer. It was the last thing I had to do. I’ve tried the TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate) and the TURP didn’t work, and this was my only option, I was willing to do anything for it.

INTERVIEWER: Describe the procedure, and was it what Dr. Sethi described?
RHONALD: It was actually what he said it was.

“It was a lot faster than I thought it was going to be, and it was relatively simple.”

INTERVIEWER: Tell me about your recovery?
RHONALD: The next day I was basically up doing anything that I wanted to do. I knew it was success the first time I went o the bathroom after the procedure, I knew it was success.

INTERVIEWER: Did you require a catheter after the procedure?
RHONALD: No sir I did not. I had no catheter at all. That was one of my biggest worries was having a catheter after the procedure, but I had no problem at all.

INTERVIEWER: Have you required a catheter since?
RHONALD: No, I have not. I have not had a problem since.

INTERVIEWER: How has it changed your urination?
RHONALD: I can’t remember the last time my urination was this free. I can’t! I just can’t, it’s amazing.

INTERVIEWER: Did you have a lot of bleeding or pain after the procedure?
RHONALD: No I did not. The only bleeding I had was after the first 2 urination and it was just light, and after that there was nothing.

INTERVIEWER: Anything else positive come from the procedure?
RHONALD: My whole outlook has changed, everything has become positive. When you do train yourself to be able to get up 5 – 6 times a night, it wears on you after a while.

“And I’m 60 years old right now and this was the last thing that I could try and I wish it was a lot sooner.”

INTERVIEWER: Describe how your bladder was running your life prior to this procedure?
RHONALD: Well, anything I had to do; I had to make plans, where I was going to drive, how I was going to get there, had to make sure I do and always having a bathroom up ahead. Sometimes when you’re driving and you don’t really realize how much is in your bladder and you get up and it really becomes an urgent situation. That has happened a couple of times and a little embarrassing, but it has happened, and it was no fun.

“My bladder ran my life, my prostrate ran my life, and everything revolved around it.”

INTERVIEWER: How are the erections? Any change in erectile functions?
RHONALD: Definite change, positive change in sexual function, definitely! I last longer, no pain. Actually during ejaculation, it was painful, it was really painful, it was like it’s trying to shove everything down there past the blockage, and it was very painful to the point where you almost didn’t want to have one.

INTERVIEWER: And since the procedure, it has not been so painful?
RHONALD: Oh! Absolutely no pain, it’s wonderful, it’s absolutely wonderful.

INTERVIEWER: Is it okay for us to share this bit of work considering?
RHONALD: Most definitely! If you’re considering this, it shouldn’t even take you 2 few seconds to think about it. My old urologist was kind of certain his ways, and it probably was just going to be a third procedure I would have had to live with it.

“And I’m really glad I found Dr. Sethi, because this has just changed my life. I can’t state anything less than that, there is no understating it, it just changed my life.”

INTERVIEWER: Thank you so much.
